It was a difficult day for Endevour Energy workers on Sunday as thousands of Shoalhaven homes lost power and the total fire ban make the task of restoring the grid slower.
As of 9am on Monday, November 30 a number of homes were still without power.
There were 126 outages in Nowra, Berry had 116, 94 in Broughton Vale and 87 in Foxground. Across the whole Endeavour network there are still around 30,000 homes without power.
Endeavour Energy regional development manager South Coast Janine Cullen said the total fire ban yesterday made the process of restoring power take longer than usual.
"Workers couldn't just switch the power back on, they had to the check the whole line," she said.
"It took a lot longer than it normally would when it's not a total fire ban."
Between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning around 30,000 homes in the Shoalhaven lost power at some point, most homes now have their electricity restored.
Ms Cullen thanked everyone for their patience.
"Just want to thank everybody for their understanding and support," she said.
"Our call centre and crew worked under pretty difficult conditions yesterday."
