From March 20-22, top young surfers from around the country will descend on the South Coast to compete in the 2021 Shoalhaven Pro Junior.
This three-day event, which could feature Ulladulla Boardriders trio Tyler Ikin, Jess Ikin and Keira Buckpitt as well as Werri Beach Boardriders duo Holly Wishart and Hayden Ward, will be stop number four of the regional junior qualifying series, following the Tahiti Nui Junior Pro (February 22-26), Bali Pro Junior (March 5-7) and Bali Open Junior (March 12-15).
Following the Shoalhaven-based event, the series will stop at South Africa, Brazil, Portugal, Indonesia, France, Chile, Hawaii, United States, New Zealand, Barbados, Peru and Taiwan - as well as other Australian venues Lennox Head and Sydney.
The regional junior qualifying series will run in line with the calendar year and all points accrued will go towards qualification for the World Junior Titles to be held in December.
Similar to past years, the top three men and top two women from each region will be invited to the World Junior Titles.
