The End of Summer Community Festival will be held on Sunday, January 24 from 5pm to 8pm and it promises to be something special.
People can bring along a picnic blanket and join an evening of live music, food trucks, markets and the first community screening of the local documentary, "New Years Day".
"New Years Day" shares the untold stories of brave and empowered young women through the Currowan Bushfire last summer.
This short film was made to elevate the voices of brave, resilient young women in the South Coast region.
The End of Summer Community Festival is brought to you by Sonder Youth Ltd. and headspace Nowra.
Sonder Youth's purpose is to train young people to create positive change for themselves by changing the world around them in a positive way.
Headspace Nowra, among many other roles, supports people with mental health, physical and sexual health, alcohol and other drugs as well as work and study.
Meanwhile, people at Sunday's event can enjoy an evening picnic and twilight market while you enjoy three local acts and this powerful film.
It's an alcohol-free event
COVID-safe event and registrations and face masks strongly encouraged.
