The film focuses on four young women from the South Coast as they reflect on their experiences of the fires and how they are processing things 12 months on.
It focuses on the courage, resilience and hope of regional young women in the face of a natural disaster beyond their control.
New Years Day will screen on Sunday, January 24 from 5-8pm and was produced by headspace and Sonder Youth.
Lincoln Smith from headspace said it's set to be a positive community event.
"We are hoping it will be an opportunity for collective processing and celebration," he said.
"We are hosting the event at the Ulladulla Civic Centre as this was the Disaster Relief Centre during the fire period and many who lost their homes were living here during this time."
The event will have local artists Joe Mungovan, Debbies and Genevieve Chadwick perform as well as food trucks and youth markets.
Weather permitting the film will be screened on an outdoor LCD screen truck.
This event is put on through partnership with Sonder Youth, Lifeline South Coast, and the Shoalhaven City Council.
