Held across two weekends, this prestigious event will have a break in the middle lasting several days to allow competitors to explore Bawley Point and all that the South Coast has to offer.
"It is hard to believe that last year's Dressage by the Sea event was the last major equine event that we have held at the property and thank goodness we are back!" says Willinga Park owner, Terry Snow.
"After a year of cancelled event, after cancelled event, we are genuinely excited to run this event and allow these talented athletes to hone their skills and compete against some of our country's finest."
Dressage by the Sea will take a unique form with two back-to-back weekend competitions giving competitors two chances to make their mark and get a score benchmarking their performance against the rest of Australia.
Dressage by the Sea is classified as a CDN meaning it refers to events held in Australia that are run under national rules, rather than international FEI rules.
"We're proud that this event, in our small town of Bawley Point. All our equestrian events are live streamed and we're finding more and more people from across Australia and overseas are tuning in to watch." Mr Snow said.
"'Each day of Dressage by the Sea will be live streamed via the Willinga Park website, which will also help promote our remarkable region to a wider audience."
As well as experiencing the world-class equestrian facilities, spectators at the event will also have an opportunity to discover Willinga Parks botanical gardens, outdoor sculptures and award-winning architecture.
Food outlets will be open daily, with a walking tour of the property running over the weekends.
"With the current COVID restrictions, the health of all our guests, staff and the local community is our utmost priority, so this year we have reduced the number of spectator tickets available," Mr Snow said.
Interested in seeing some world-class dressage but want to avoid the more crowded days?
"We recommend attending on either the Monday or the Friday," Mr Snow said.
