Human remains located at Mollymook Beach on the weekend have been determined to belong to a man reported missing from Sydney last month.

About 6.30pm on Friday, February 26, police were called to Mollymook after a member of the public found human remains.
Officers from South Coast Police District started inquiries in consultation with the Missing Persons Registry.
The DNA profile of the remains was compared against the missing persons database, which contains the hereditary and genetic mapping of missing people in New South Wales.
Earlier today (Wednesday, March 3), the remains were confirmed to be that of a man reported missing from Ingleburn last month.
The 37-year-old man was last seen at an ATM in Kiama about 1.30pm on Monday, February 1, after he caught a train from Ingleburn to Kiama.
Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command started inquiries to find the man and will continue to lead investigations into the man's final movements.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
