THE Rotary Club of Milton-Ulladulla has teamed up for a second time with Comedy for a Cause to produce a top-quality night of laughter on Saturday, April 10, with all proceeds going back into the local community. Sydney and Melbourne Comedy Festival legends Tommy Dean, Andrew Barnett, Bruce Griffiths and Mat Wakefield will have you in stitches. Dunn Lewis Auditorium, Ulladulla. Coming up
The Festival of Small Halls Autumn Tour 2021 is set to stop in the Shoalhaven. The Pyree School of Arts Hall- aka the Pyree Hall - will host the feel-good ukulele strummer and drummer Bobby Alu and two-piece indie pop-rock band This Way North on this year's NSW Autumn Tour. A free concert by Shoalhaven Community Choir, featuring the wonderful voice of Steve Ryan, will be held on Friday, April 16 to celebrate Seniors Week. It will be the choir's first event of the year and will include a light lunch afterwards. To be held at the Nowra Uniting Church Hall at 29 Berry Street from 10.30am. Empower Me
If there's a community that knows the meaning of 'resilience in the face of adversity', it's the Milton Ulladulla region. Shoalhaven not-for-profit Empower Me Program is hosting an art exhibition with that exact theme and is welcoming entries. The exhibition is open to youth aged between 12 years and 25 years, seniors 60 years and over, and Aboriginal and Torres strait Islander people 50 years and over. Under the Southern Stars
Concert series
The 2021 Under The Southern Stars concert series will kick off in the Illawarra on April 30 with Bush, Cheap Trick and Stone Temple Pilots on the line-up. "Dream Police" hit-makers Cheap Trick will replace Live, who were unable to make the rescheduled dates. It's going to be a big night.
