A large crowd lined the streets of Milton to watch the Anzac Day march on April 25 2017 and it was a memorable event.
Sadly there will not due to COVID 19 there will be no Milton march or service this year - as was the case in 2020.
Yes, we would all like to Milton service to be held because it always produced something special.
However, we will have to wait until next year - if all goes to plan.
In good news, the annual Anzac Day Ceremony returns to the Kioloa War Memorial in 2021 and this year the Kioloa War Memorial Committee will also be celebrating the Centenary of the RAAF.
The service will remember the past and present personnel and those who served the RAAF's predecessor - the Royal Flying Corps.
People wanting to attend the service are asked to be seated by 10:45am. Wreaths are welcome.
A local Anzac Day event will be held in Ulladulla this year but there will not be a Dawn Service.
The Milton Ulladulla Ex-Servos Club and Milton Ulladulla RSL Sub Branch this year will be having a Anzac Service at 11am on the front lawn and Memorial Gardens of the Club.
Local Anzac Day events, due to COVID-19, were not held last year.
There will be a short march within the ExServos grounds for current and Ex Serviceman only starting at 10.30am with the service to follow at 11am. Due COVID restrictions the gathering is limited to 1000 people in the area and everyone wishing to attend will need to register with Sticky Tickets and download and bring their ticket with them.
