CULBURRA Beach's Keira Buckpitt has taken out the under 18 girls crown at Sunday's 2021 Surfing NSW South Coast Junior Regional Titles, held at Jones Beach.

In a two-heat tally points system, the Ulladulla Boardrider finished in equal first with Gerringong's Holly Wishart, as they both recorded one heat win and one second-place.
But St Johns student Buckpitt secured the win on a countback due to her having the top individual wave score of 7.83 and highest heat score (14.33).
Finishing in third and fourth respectively were Bea and Clara MacDonald.
Ariel Hutchinson, from Durras North, took out the under 18 boys division, by scoring 13.14 in the final, to edge out Cooper Collinge (11.70), Philip Davies (11.16) and Matt Driscoll (10.07).
In the under 16s, the two winners were Ulladulla's Koby Jackson and Gerringong's Tiana Darragh.
The former, who scored 12.67 in the final, defeated Reece Harper (11.60), Kane Doull (8.30) and Dayan Conti (7.10), while the Werri Beach Boardrider edged Keira Puckeridge, Crystal Davies, Bronte Herft and Abi Lewthwaite.
Not to be outdone was Ulladulla's Lincoln Dell, who topped the under 14s age group by overcoming William Tiffen, Oscar Perry-Dickenson and Mitchell Loudoun.
While the under 14 girls division was won by Kiama Downs' Alice Hodgson, pipping clubmate Lani Cairncross, as well as Alice Hodgson and Lizzy Barrington for top spot.
Finally, in the under 12s, the two winners were Sam Sparks and Lani Cairncross.
In the boys final, Sparks recorded an 8.50, to oust Ben Kolega (6.20), Ollie Whyte (5.60) and Sean Manson (2.34).
As the latter pipped Gerringong's Lucy Darragh and Pearl Eaton for first place.
