The South Coast will soon welcome a new School for Specific Purposes (SSP) in Milton following the lodgement of a State Significant Development Application (SSDA) to relocate the existing Budawang SSP in Ulladulla to the former Shoalhaven Anglican School site.

The project will deliver seven purpose-built learning spaces, new core facilities and a hydrotherapy aquatic facility to cater for students with moderate or severe intellectual disabilities from years K-12.
The school will also include an administration block, a hall and a covered outdoor learning area (COLA).
Member for South Coast, Shelley Hancock said she was thrilled to see progress on the project.
"This is an important project for the South Coast, and I share the community's excitement in watching it start to take shape," Ms Hancock said.
"This school will support our South Coast students in achieving their educational outcomes for generations to come.
"Our government is committed to providing the very best educational facilities for all students and teachers and this site has plenty of potential for providing wonderful facilities."

Minister for Education Sarah Mitchell said she was pleased the project was moving ahead.
"I'm very pleased that the NSW Liberals & Nationals Government is delivering much needed school infrastructure projects for our children, creating a safer and stronger community," Ms Mitchell said.
"The site of the new School for Specific Purposes has been master planned to allow for expansion of educational facilities as needed in the future."
