The centre closed late on Monday, September 20 after being advised by the Public Health Unit that the patient attended the practice on Tuesday, September 14 at 10am.
The patient was wearing a mask and followed all required precautions.
Staff at the centre are undergoing testing and the practice will remain closed for in person appointments until each staff receives a negative test result.
The practice advised that while all staff follow infection control procedures, the interest of all staff and patients is paramount, and the decision to close has been made to keep everyone safe.
Staff are currently working from home. If you have an appointment already booked, you will be contacted regarding rescheduling and any changes to be made.
Patients will be contacted directly by the Public Health Unit if they deem them to be a contact.
