The positive case is a Shoalhaven resident and is linked to a known case in the community, confirmed by the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.
The new case comes as NSW Health listed three new venues of concern in the Shoalhaven.
These sites include South Nowra Bunnings, Nowra Coles and Milton IGA Plus Liquor.

Anyone who has visited these venues during those windows is a casual contact and should immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
Across the ISLHD, 65 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded overnight.
Wollongong has recorded 50 new cases, with 16 linked to known cases. Investigations are continuing for the other 34.
Shellharbour has recorded 12 new cases, with four linked to known cases.
Kiama recorded two new cases with both linked to known cases.
The state recorded 1,063 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night. NSW Health reported six deaths occurred overnight.
NSW Health administered 35,121 COVID-19 vaccines in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
Health Minister Brad Hazzard announced in Thursday's press conference that 83.6 per cent of the eligible population had received a dose of vaccine, while 55.5 per cent were fully vaccinated.
He said this was a "remarkable increase", considering the first dose rate two days ago was 82.5 per cent.
Twenty eight per cent of children aged 12-15 are also vaccinated, Mr Hazzard said.
