A fundraising community walk to raise money for spontaneous coronary artery dissection will be held this Sunday. The walk starts at 9:30am at the Cambewarra Hall.
The SCADaddle walk raises awareness and funds for SCAD Research for the Victor Chang Institute. Make sure you wear red.

'Malachy: A father's story of love, laughter and loss' book launch: Saturday, October 30
Dr Dominic Frawley's book launch will be held at the Crooked River Wines in Gerringong from 4:30 PM to 9 PM, with live entertainment from a South Coast folk band, The Water Runners.

Veterans Health Week
A number of events are planned for Veterans Health Week.
Friday, October 22: A Walk and Talk event which will include a bacon and egg roll breakfast at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre from 7.30 AM to 10 AM to mark Veterans' Health Week.
Wednesday, October 27: An exercise physiologist luncheon for the Keith Payne VC Veterans Benefit Group between 11.30 AM and 1.30 PM at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre.
Saturday, October 30: A bushwalk and barbecue lunch will be held at the Depot Road picnic area at West Nowra, between 11.30 AM and 2 PM.
Wednesday, November 3: Another exercise physiologist luncheon, this time for the women's group, between 11.30 AM and 1.30 PM again at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre.
Art displays
Currarong Art Trail: Open Saturday, November 6.
The long-anticipated Currarong Art Trail will be officially launched on Saturday, November 6.
The art trail is free for all visitors and artists will welcome visitors into their studios to view and purchase original works of art.
Artists' works include photography, political cartoons, botanical printing, woodwork, painting, pottery, glasswork, screen printing and much more.
The Currarong Art Trail will operate on the first Saturday of every month following between 10am and 2pm.

2020 Archibald Prize: until November 6
With COVID restrictions eased this week, Shoalhaven Regional Gallery Nowra has re-opened its doors, offering the chance for fully vaccinated members of the community to see the 2020 Archibald Prize exhibition.
The Prize, an Art Gallery of New South Wales Touring Exhibition, has a long history in Australian culture and a vital contemporary presence.
Alongside the Archibald Prize 2020 exhibition, the Regional Art Gallery will be displaying a local Young Archie Competition. Over 30 portraits from artists aged 5 to 18 years will be on show in the North Gallery.
The exhibition will be on display until Saturday November 6. Entry is free and be sure to bring along your phone and headphones to access a free mobile guide to each of the works.
