Ulladulla's Walk 'n' Talk's first post-lockdown walk will be held on Sunday November 7 at Mollymook Beach
Ulladulla's Walk 'n' Talk has a strong wellbeing and suicide prevention aspect about it.
Walkers can meet at 8.45am for a 9am walk and you get a free T-Shirt and a barbecue breakfast.
The first walk was in April and the last walk in July attracted over 20 walkers.
Former star rugby league player Shannon Nevin brought his Walk 'n' Talk For Life program to the region, supported by well-known local residents Dave and Jennie Rutherford.
Dave and Jennie organised the walks once a month and their aim was to help people in need.
In his role as the local 'milko' Dave has met a lot of people over the years.
Dave, sadly, has heard about people who have taken their own lives, which is why he played a role in establishing a local Walk 'n' Talk For Life.
Shannon, meanwhile, said lives can be saved from events like Walk 'n' Talk For Life.
"It's amazing what happens when you get like-minded people that want to come together and join in your community with each other to walk and talk your worries away," he said.
Anyone can attend the event.
"You don't necessarily have to be struggling - you don't have to be going through depression, suffer from anxiety, or are suicidal - the walk is for everybody," Shannon said.
