Sculpture at Petana, an exhibition of over 85 sculptures by 27 Shoalhaven and South Coast artists, will take place for the last time from Saturday, November 6 to Sunday, November 14.
The exhibition is being held from 10am to 4pm daily at the beautiful park-like Petana Gardens, located a short 15-minute drive from Milton at 408b Woodburn Road, Morton.
Event organiser/curator Peter Hoy is looking forward to what will be the last time the event is held at the Petana Gardens.
Peter added plans were underway to keep the event going but not at Petana Gardens.
"The intention is for it to be on a larger scale closer to town in 2023," he said.
This year's event marks the fifth year the exhibition is held at Petana Gardens.
Going on the standard of the works that will be on display, Peter believes the exhibition will leave Petana Gardens on a high note.
He talks about people getting to see and experience powerful three-dimensional works from a wonderful array of artists.
Works will feature woodwork, metal, ceramics sculptures and sometimes a combination of many elements.
Peter once again said the standard was exceptional.
People will also get to vote on the sculpture they like the most in the people's choice award.
Admission is $10 for adults, accompanying children under 16 are free.
Buy your tickets at the gate.
Current COVID-19 regulations will apply.
This is also an opportunity for visitors to view the Monet inspired, beautiful Petana Gardens owned by Peter and Anna Rosen.
Petana is an established, four-acre country garden created by the previous owner Frenchman, Christian Chambord, in a style after Monet's Giverney with the water lily pond at its centre.
Over 20 years in the making the garden also features a Japanese "Zen" garden, hydrangea walk, stone circle, maze garden and a large covered orchard and vegetable garden.
The gardens are located an easy 10 to 15-minute drive from Milton or Ulladulla, approx one kilometre along Woodburn Road just past the turn-off to Pigeon House Mountain Didthul.
