Zoe penned the haunting tribute to those who, like herself, endured the Black Summer Bushfires.
She was inspired to offer it to the Manyana Matters Environmental Association for use in their campaign and began to follow them Facebook.
"I am heartbroken to see the push for the development at Manyana," she said.
" Having seen the destruction of the fires and the huge relocation of wildlife that had fled the fire zones, I do not understand the rush to destroy more of the natural environment while the South Coast regenerates.
"My own property has experienced a dramatic shift in wild birds feeding and nesting here since the fires as they look for new homes.
"The destruction was so hard to process. I think this song has a home in Manyana, and all over Australia."
Manyana Matters, to complete the circle of community spirit, put Zoe in touch with director and film maker, Anthony 'Ash' Brennan of Yatte Yattah Films, who created the award winning We Are Conjola documentary.
