
Seventeen of the Shoalhaven District Cricket Association's top young stars have been selected to represent the Greater Southern Marlins this upcoming season.
The Greater Illawarra Cricket Zone unveiled its six sides which will contest the 2021-22 male youth championships on Tuesday, with the Marlins consisting of players from Shoalhaven and South Coast, while the Illawarra Highlanders featuring talents from Illawarra and the Highlanders.

The under 13s side is headlined by Bay and Basin pair Jesse Walters and Boedi McGowan, Batemans Bay pair Nick Wain and Mason Fardell, as well as Ulladulla United's Lachlan Barry, Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens' Kent Ellery and Bomaderry's Brodee Green.
Rounding out that side will be South Coast's Joe Burgess, Lucas Dell'Orefice, Charlie Edwards, Kody Lawler, Archie O'Hara and Thomas Wells.
While the under 14s side contains Batemans Bay's Flynn Dunn and Cooper Frawley, North Nowra-Cambewarra's Elijah Guyatt and Beau Lynch and Berry-Shoalhaven Heads' Tobias Eyeland.
Those six will be joined in the team by South Coast's Kasey Burton, Aiden Campion, Jacob Constantinou, Ben Fredericks, Lucas Kay, Noah McWilliams, Joshua Peters and Jackson Taylor.
Finally, Berry quartet Campbell Bramley, Jackson Ingram, Riley Ingram and Matthew Page, as well as Basin's Ryan Malecki, spearhead the Marlins' under 15s side.
Joining that quintet in the 13-person outfit are South Coast's David Coleman, Jacob Coleman, Blake Mackrell, Baxter McDonald, Darcy Norris, Jaiden Robinson, Jarryd White and Noah Wright.
