A third man has been charged by Homicide Squad detectives investigating the murder of another man on the state's South Coast earlier this year

About 8pm on Sunday July 25, 2021, emergency services were called to a caravan park on Ethel Street at Sanctuary Point, following reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers entered a cabin and located a man with a stab wound to his chest.
Officers attempted CPR on the man; however, he could not be revived and died at the scene.
He was formally identified as 49-year-old Sanctuary Point resident, David McArthur.
Initial inquiries were conducted by officers from South Coast Police District before detectives from the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad took carriage of the investigation under Strike Force Frawley.
Two men have previously been charged over their alleged involvement in the murder and remain before the courts.
Following further inquiries, a 42-year-old man was arrested in Nowra about 7.30 am Tuesday November 23, 2021.
He was taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with conceal serious indictable offence (more than 20 years max) of other.
Police will allege in court the man attended the caravan park with two other men on the night of the alleged murder, and subsequently failed to assist investigators following the 49-year-old man's death.
The Nowra man was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court today Wednesday November 24, 2021.
