Mollymook Surf Life Saving Club’s presentation night was a huge success with a multitude of awards presented. Highlights included: Boys U/15 relay team with Gold at State and National titles; 260 Masters boat crew Gold and Tony Ireland Gold in the master surf tube race, both at Nationals; U/17 boys relay and individual Gold medals in U/19 and U/15 beach events at State. Male competitor of the year was Keegan Norwood. Female competitor Squid Jigs.

Patrol and long service awards went to Rod and Wendy Austin, Kevin and Sue Whitford, John Patterson, Keith Claxton, Len Bolin, Bruce O'Sullivan, Annette Chapman, Paul Love, Peter Coburn, Ken Burton, Margaret Minns, Russ Bartlett, Les O'Sullivan, Mick Bond, and Ivan Johnson.
Tony Ireland was 'Club Person' of the year, Eadan Burton Junior Club person of the year, Chloe Scott junior Lifesaver of the year. Senior Life Saver of the year David Toghill. Mal Dowler the 'Quiet achiever' award. Champion patrol to No 14 patrol captained by David Johnson and Patrol person of the year to Leonie Hicks. As a club Mollymook received a plaque from Surf Life Saving NSW for 'Champion Country Surf Club' at the NSW Titles. It was night reflective of a GREAT surf club. Rod thanked Noel and Trish Butler for their 'Welcome to Country' and the organisers for this wonderful evening with numerous photos attached, compliments of photographer extraordinaire Kim Matthews.
