Lachlan Geoffrey Jablonski, 18, pleaded guilty to driving with an illicit drug present in blood and appeared in Milton Local Court on March 16.
Magistrate Gabriel Fleming told Jablonski her ‘patience was running thin’.
“You got leniency of the court in 2015 and now you’re back here again,” she said.
“You’re old enough to know better.”
Court papers state at 8.15pm on November 3, police were called to the carpark of West Ulladulla Sporting Complex about a car doing burnouts.
Police stopped Jablonski who told them his tyres were wearing out so he wanted to see if he could wear them down faster.
Jablonski returned a negative breath test but tested positive for cannabis.
