A massive snake has been filmed making itself a cozy home on top of an unsuspecting restaurateur's washed dishes on the north coast of NSW. Ballina resident Keith Williams said he was halfway through clearing the dishes when he spotted the snake curled up around the clean glasses. Mr Williams opened the kitchen window and left the snake to slither away. But a few hours later, it re-appeared to "cause quite the ruckus for a few minutes", he said. "I thought it had gone by about 9 o'clock," Mr Williams told ABC News Breakfast on Friday. "About an hour and a half later, it reappeared while the restaurant was open so we opened a different window and it went out." Thankfully, the carpet python is known to be non-venomous. It's not the first time he's come face-to-face with the slithering species either. His home has always attracted pythons during the springtime. He told Twitter his most spectacular encounter with the carpet python species came in August 2017 when he filmed to mating snakes hanging from his kitchen window.
