At 4.30am on May 17 six fire crews responded to the blaze at Kioloa Beach Caravan Park after a guest called triple zero.
Emergency services arrived on the scene shortly after to find the caravans and boats on fire.
The crews deployed “house lines” to extinguish the blaze and protect surrounding assets, Shoalhaven Rural Fire Service said.
The three caravans, permanently based in park and occupied casually, were empty at the time of the fire.
It took Rural Fire Service crews from Kioloa, Bawley Point, Tabourie and Milton, along with NSW Fire and Rescue close to an hour to extinguish the blaze.
The fire is being investigated by NSW Police and NSW RFS, however is not being treated as suspicious.
A Kioloa Beach Caravan Park staff member said there was not many people in the park at the time of the blaze.
“We are very lucky the person woke up, alerted staff and called triple zero,” she said.
“The fire crews were very successful in containing the fire so nothing else was damaged.”
Shoalhaven RFS operations officer Paul Gooey said the fire was contained after about half-an-hour.
“Fire spreads quickly in caravans and other vans were being threatened,” he said.
“Because there is no town water out there, we had to get a number of vehicles on the scene to manage it.
“We had three tankers, a water truck and two vehicles on scene.”
Mr Gooey said firefighters left the scene at 8am.
