Ann is also a member of the Rotary Club of South Nowra, and gave a non-political presentation about her background and her charity work in India.
Ann was a science teacher and later a confectionary maker.
Ann spoke on her various trips to India and specially to Krishnagiri, Bombay and Bangalore.
Ann talked about the heat waves, the narrow roads and the frantic traffic where people give way to push bikes who give way to motor bikes, then to three wheelers, followed by taxis, buses and finally trucks.
Ann in India has helped with the school curriculum, helped children with their schooling, distributed eye glasses collected by Rotary Clubs from all over the world and also helped with the construction of twelve classrooms for an orphanage in India.
