The 2014 NSW Senior PGA Championship Pro-Am offers a $30, 000 prize pool and is the premier event for Mollymook Golf Club and the biggest event in the NSW golf calendar.
Terry Price, Rodger Davis and Mike Harwood are just some of the golfing big guns who will join over 50 professionals in the sport who have signed up to take part in the two-day event.
Amature golfers from all over the country will also get to join the pros for the 18 hole shotgun start, with plenty of prizes on offer.
Over $3000 worth of golf gear is up for grabs, and even a new car, an Isuzu Mux LSU wagon valued at $45,000, for anyone who can get a hole in one on the ninth hole.
Mollymook Golf Club director of golf Barry West encouraged anyone to come and watch an exciting two days of golf.
“It has the title, it’s prestigious and some of the biggest names in professional golfers in the masters category will be here,” he said.
“Spectators are also more than welcome to walk around and watch some of the Australia’s legends play.”
Apart from golf, another drawcard of the tournament will be the championships dinner on Friday night at the Beachside course, where former Australian cricketer Greg Ritchie will entertain the guests in what is sure to be an exciting night.
Mollymook Golf Club earnt the right to host the 2014 championships following a highly successful Milton-Ulladulla Apex Legends of Golf Pro-Am in December 2013.
The tournament was such a hit it was voted by players as one of the top five PGA tournaments in the state, and as a result, Mollymook Golf Club will bring you the championship-status two-day tournament this Friday and Saturday.
Tee off is either 7am or 12.30pm.
