The Ulladulla-Milton Lions markets feature 110 stalls, with vintage car displays, a food fair and model trains also on display.
The morning kicked of with the Welcome to the Country by Fred Carriage and flag raising ceremony, followed by a dog training club exhibition.
The Times Youth Music Scholarship got underway at 10am, with the district's top young performers on the stage vying for a total of $3,500 in prize money.
Hundreds have packed the reserve to grab a bargain at the markets and to watch the live music.
The official Australia Day address will be made by ambassador Bruce Elder, before the second round of scholarship finalists hit the stage at 12.10pm.
The town's newest Aussie citizens have already taken the pledge, but will be officially welcomed at Mollymook by Mayor Joanna Gash at 1pm.
Later in the day, last year's scholarship winner Megan White will hit the stage at 2pm, with the 2015 winners to be announced at 2.20pm.
Throughout the day there will be plenty of flag waving, snags cooking and good Aussie fun by the sea.
