They will be able to walk away with award-winning vegetables, all for free.
Many of the fruit and vegetables that filled the pavilion during the Milton Show have been handed over to the food store, for distribution to people on low incomes.
The donation was organised by Roy Jonhston of Yatte Yattah, who again dominated the fruit and vegetable section and walked away with a swag of awards.
However he said the awards were not important.
“There are a few of us who like to go in it each year just to help keep the fruit and vegetable section going,” he said.
“I love to see other people come along and get involved, and then when they win a few prizes they come back again the next year.”
While that is good news for the show, it is even better news for people on pensions and low incomes who are given fruit and vegetables from the show pavilion for free.
The Ulladulla Community Food Store has been operating for several years, giving away fresh fruit and vegetables along with bread while selling other grocery items at cut prices, from 9.30am to 11.30am from the Ulladulla Community Resource Centre every Friday.
