Organisers are remaining tight-lipped, but are hoping to this week secure two comedy gurus to headline the festival that so far promises more than 13 events over four days from Thursday July 30 until Sunday August 2.
Milton the Cow is helping to promote the festival both locally and out of the area, which is aimed at bringing people to the region during the normally quiet winter months.
A committee of Ulladullirians have been working hard to bring a variety of shows to town, catering to all ages and tastes.
Festival coordinator Sarah Watterson said, following the success of last year’s inaugural events, the 2015 festival promised even more laughs.
“We have shows planned for venues throughout Ulladulla, Mollymook and Milton,” she said.
“There will be stand-up comedians, shows at schools and workshops for those who want to learn how to be funny.
“For people who think they are funny, they can put their humour to the test at an open mike night at the Commercial.
“There’s just so much going on - this is one crazy ride you don’t want to miss.”
The popular Rock Quiz trivia night will be held at the Milton Theatre during Ulladullirious after making the move from the Artfest timetable, while a Moosquerade frocktail party will also add to the fun.
Throw in the Foxy Hornbags show and Smart Casual duo, as well as a return performance by Cam Knight, and you have a line-up of laughs set to bring comedy lovers to town in droves.
“Last year’s event was awesome and this year’s will be triple awesome,” Sarah said.
“We don’t have the headlines locked in yet, but people are going to want to lock in the dates.”
