THE ExServos Milton Ulladulla Bulldogs went into Sunday’s clash with Berry underanned and then lost two key players to injury during the first half, but they still managed to pull off an exciting and courageous win at Bill Andriske Oval.

The Bulldogs were into the game missing captain and playmaker Jason Wells, Group 7 representative Lepani Waqa and half back Jade Tooth, however all are expected to return for the Albion Park Oak Flats game next Sunday.
On top of that Milton lost Jesse Piekar with what appeared to be an elbow dislocation and Dale Hammond with a shoulder injury during the first half, leaving the side with only a two-man bench for most of the game.
However the Bulldogs managed to prevail, recording a 28-24 win in the most exciting game played at Mollymook this season.
In a tight game Milton led 20-12 at halftime after being down 12-0 .
Berry looked good early in the game and in the 9th minute centre Dresser scored in a handy position for half back McPherson to convert.
After 15 minutes fullback Blake Harris-Davis went with McPherson again converting.
Berry was looking good and with few handling errors was completing more sets than the home team.
Milton’s first entry into Berry territory did not come until the 19th minute when Blake Mackey, who was having a huge game in defence, was held up over the line.
In the lead-up to Mackey’s efforts Jesse Piekar went down with an elbow injury and had to leave the field.
Minutes later Milton's McInnes dropped the ball over the goal line.
Milton was able to regain possession and Zuzic, who came up from the under 18s, scored in a handy position.
Milton's regular kicker Moore missed the conversion with Milton on the board at 12-4.
After a kick chase into the Berry in-goal Dale Hammond collided with the fence and had to leave the field with a dislocated shoulder.
Berry's stocky forwards led by Holland, Dryden and Moffatt had the Milton pack stretched.
In the 24th minute Milton's wily lock Adam Stone wove some magic and got past four Berry defenders to find some daylight for McInnes.
Lachie Moore missed the conversion with Berry in front 12-8.
Stone was having his best game of the season and was able to stand the Berry defence up and got past Dinnie, Symes and Bramley to score himself.
This time Moore was on target and Milton hit the lead 14-12.
In the 30th minute another try went to Milton's Tyler Clark with Moore converting and Milton leading 20-12.
Berry was tiring and conceded several penalties for delaying play the ball movements. However they dominated the next 10 minutes and were unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions.
McCall and Dresser were having a tussle with Mackey and McInnes who after a couple of games together were developing a combination.
Berry got straight back into it in the second stanza and fullback Blake Harris-Davis scored after four minutes with Jack McPherson converting and bringing the differential back to only two points.
The next quarter saw Berry throw everything at Milton but the Milton defence held although the loss of Piekar and Hammond was starting to show.
Milton regained possession in the 18th minute but the experienced McInnes lost the ball in the north east corner for another try to be missed.
Milton's handling was starting to drop off and Bramley and Milne made searching runs to get Berry back into Milton's half.
Milton was attacking the northern end and second rower Wade Walker kicked to the goal posts.
Berry's Harris-Davis got a hand to the ball which almost fell into the arms of Stone, who scored almost under the posts.
Moore converted, giving the home side an eight-point buffer.
In the dying minutes Milton was awarded another penalty and Milton captain Stone chose to take the two points rather that shoot for six.
Moore did not let him down, taking the score out to 28-18.
In the last minute Lachlan Dresser, who scored the first try of the match, fittingly scored the last for McPherson to convert with the final bell ringing. Milton 28 Berry 24.
Best for Milton were Stone, Mackey and McInnes with Blake Harris-Davis, Dresser and Bramley the best for Berry.
Jimmy Hayman debuted for Milton Ulladulla.
This coming weekend the Bulldogs face Albion Park Oak Flats at Mollymook.

Reserve Grade
Neither side started with much purpose with poor handling being complimented with poor defence.
Berry began to hang onto the ball midway through the first half and Callun Saunders, Glenn Arnold and Marcus Rogers scored tries with Scott Groves kicking two goals.
Milton entered Berry's territory for the first time in the 15th minute at the hands of Jimmy Little, but John Harrod was tackled into touch.
Late in the first half Alex Stokes scored for the visitors with Groves missing the conversion, taking Berry out to a 20-0 lead at the break.
Berry began attacking Milton's right hand side and Jye Bull aimed for the scoreboard corner only to be called back with Milton awarded a penalty for off side.
When Berry regained possession Glen Arnold scored his second try with Groves converting, taking the visitors to a 26-0 lead and there were ominous signs.
In the tenth minute Milton's diminutive winger Damian Gary scored a neat try after good lead up work by Jamie Wills and Adam Costa.
Milton's purple patch was shortlived after they failed to find touch from a penalty which put the visitors on the attack again and the experienced Lloyd Sharp got the chocolates this time with Groves converting.
Milton was out of it in the last 20 minutes with Jye Bull, Sam Sproules and Glen Arnold scoring his third try in this time.
Berry is now in sixth place on 17 points and look like missing out on the five.
Milton Ulladulla is out of the running and will find fifth-placed APOF difficult this Sunday at Bill Andriske Oval.
Best for Berry were Jackson Bramley, Scott Groves and Glenn Arnold and for Milton Jimmy Little, Jamie Wills, Hayden Baxter and Jackson Zammit tried hard all day.

Under 18s
Milton Ulladulla has been showing improvement late in the season and got away to a flying start against Stingrays .
Luke Adams scored in the 4th minute with Matt Zuzic missing the conversion .
Callum Franchi then scored with Zuzic converting taking Milton to a 10-0 lead.
Milton's dominance was to be short lived with Nicholas Roots scoring for the visitors and McLaurin converting.
Milton tried to reply and some good runs by Bettington, Adams and Hammond were thwarted by the solid Stingrays defence.
At the end of the half Jamie Burns came off the bench for Stingrays and scored an unconverted try.
With the score 10 all at the break Milton looked good to score first in the second half but Jimmy Hayman was held up over the Stingrays line.
In fact it was Reece Bishop who scored for Stingrays with Hamish McLaurin converting.
In the 22nd minute Parish Bellette scored and McLaurin converted to give the visitors a 12 point lead.
James Hayman had one man to beat soon after but in a one on one upright tackle Jack Willis of Stimgrays successfully stole the ball to put Stingrays back on the attack.
With fulltime approaching Milton's winger Lewis Overall showed a good turn of speed to score his second try in two outings. Zuzic missed the conversion.
In the dying minutes McLaurin and Riley scored for Stingrays with Willis and McLauren converting blowing the scoreline out to 34-14.
Best for Stingrays were McLaurin, Riley and Harris. For Milton Ulladulla Franchi had another strong game. Hayman had a busy game along with Willard , Harper and Zuzic.
Man of the round had to be Matt Zuzic who also appeared in the two senior grade games that followed – both first and reserve grades.

Women's League Tag
Milton kept its undefeated record intact when it shut out Berry 30-10 on Sunday.
Milton was without gun fullback and prolific point scorer Ebony Murray, Amy Austin and captain Cheyanne Hatch.
Milton took a while to settle down and find their rhythm and held a narrow 6-4 win at halftime.
Ana Raduva crossed in the fourth minute but was penalised for diving in the process of grounding the ball.
Tessa Harris scored in the 17th minute with Emily Burke converting.
Both teams were defending well and minutes later Berry's standout Kiley Meehan scored and missed the conversion.
Milton began the second half strongly and Taryn Love, playing a roving game, dashed away to score.
A minute later her sister Jaylee made a weaving run only to be called back after she had touched down.
Emily Burke is one of Milton's most improved players and scored minutes later as Milton looked to be in control.
Taryn Love ran onto a good pass and made a 70 metre dash to score in a handy position.
Jessica lattle who had been sharing the kicking with Burke, added the extras and Milton looked comfortable at 20-4.
Minutes later Rachel Beck was over with Little converting.
Kiarna Veitch followed only minutes later to make it 30-4.
In the dying minutes a consolation try went to Ebony Murphy of Berry with Kylie Meehan converting.
Milton ran out winners 30-10.
This Sunday at 10.35am Milton will meet up with Culburra who are yet to score a win.

Reunion
A reunion of the Bulldogs first grade teams from 2004 and 2005, along with the under 18s side of 2005, is being held at the Ulladulla ExServos Club on Saturday, August 1, starting 1pm.
Former players and supporters are welcome, with tickets costing $10.

Big League
ON the night of Friday, August 14 the Bulldogs will be hosting a sponsors, players and supporters night of nights at their headquarters the Milton Ulladulla ExServos Club.
Special guests and speakers will be led by former internationals Cliff Lyons and Josh Perry, along with another former Northern Eagles player Josh Stewart.
