HOPE: The flame of hope in Boland, South Africa is lit by the towns longest surviving survivor. This will happen again this year, at the same time as the Milton Ulladulla relay.
This year, as people are walking around the Milton showground at Relay for Life, people from the Bolands region in South Africa on the Western Cape, will be holding a relay at the same time.

The small farming municipality that is roughly the size of Ulladulla, has around 35 teams participating and are in their sixth year of organising the event.
Last year, they raised $22 000.
The Ulladulla Relay for Life Committee hope to organise a skype session with the African sister relay during the event.
The Boland Relay for Life have a flame of hope that is lit at the start of the relay, and burns throughout the 24 hours.
