The five piece punk rock, surf rock, rock ’n’ roll band is made up of high school students who love to play and make music.
Drummer Sam ‘Som’ Boland said the group was looking forward to playing the festival at the Lewisham Hotel on March 12.
Quiet like Pete is made up of Ian Tennant and Ethan Wester on lead and rythm guitars, Shaun Riley on bass, Som Bolond on drums and Mitchell ‘Turtle’ Berwick as vocalist.
“UBERfest is a festival for all genres to come along and play a good show, and it tours from Brisbane to Perth stopping at all major cities along the way,” Sam said.
The band has some tickets for sale at $25 each or they are available via the festival’s Facebook Page or on the door.
The UBERfest 2016 Summer Touris playing its seventh season and features independent bands, showcasing a diverse line-up of the best emerging musicians Australia wide.
The festival will host more than 30 up-and-coming bands playing across two stages, over 10 hours.
Quite Like Pete members are getting ready for one hell of a party and they hope their local supporters can make the event.
They have regular gigs at local venues including the Star Hotel supporting the Swaggers and played during the ArtFest Milton Gallery Walk.
The group also hit the stage at the Milton-Ulladulla Relay for Life and On Stage at the Dunn Lewis Centre.
