St John had many high achievers with impressive ATAR rankings, including Emily who attained a score of 94.7.
The daughter of Brett and Anne Hancock, she said her impressive score was a reward for hard work.
“I was reasonably confident and I had worked hard all year,” Emily said.
Emily wants to study medicine, has some offers and is currently weighing up her options.
Her friend and fellow Milton resident Eden Wray was also happy with her efforts and hopes to study commerce at the University of Wollongong.
Year 12 coordinator Simon Vaughan is happy with all his students.
“As a year group they were all just so positive,” he said.
Mr Vaughan said importantly they were great people and he wished them all the best.
