The first starting Tuesday, February 16 between 6-8pm will be led by Ben Adcock and the second starting Thurday, March 10 from 1-3pm with Vivien Mclaren.
Both courses run for eight weeks. Participants will learn about and experience the many benefits of living with mindfulness and awareness.
Mindfulness is a well recognised technique for dealing with life's challenges and these days it is being actively taught in numerous different environments including schools, hospitals and on the sports field.
It is being adopted by modern phycolagy as the most effective way to restore a sense of well being and balance to ones life.
Learning how to meditate is such a valuable life skill that will benefit not just you but those around you as well.
Through steady practice one begins to discover the deeper level of ones nature that is always calm.
The classes are a combination of theory, practice and discussion.
Participants receive a course manual and practice the techniques at home during the week.
These courses have been running in the local area now for 15 years. The classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced students.
Cost for the eight week course is $75/$65 members and concession. .
