AFTER a loss to Port Kembla in the South Coast AFL, the Ulladulla Zauner Dockers were keen to make amends on that performance last weekend.

Training was hot on Thursday with all players on song ahead of their game against Norths Tigers last Saturday at Kiama.
Choosing from a list of 26 players, the Dockers were confident about this game that could put them in second position on the ladder.
But for a second week in a row, players made themselves unavailable, mainly due to illness and injuries.
In the end the Dockers travelled to Kiama with 16 players. Luckily enough a couple more got out of their sick beds to join us, making 18 players for the game.
The match started slowly with each team playing 14 players, leaving the score close at the first break.
After the first quarter it went to 16 players, which gave the Dockers the edge having two interchange players available to give a breather to the others when necessary.
At the break the Dockers were reminded of the team ethos which seemed to strike home.
From the start of the second term and through the rest of the game the Dockers ran all over the Norths Tigers.
The under 17s playing up were exceptional.
Looking into next year for the club these boys will really make a difference.
The backs were sensational when tested and the forwards made the most of every opportunity to bring home the victory for the team.
The senior players were for the first time really learning how to play with each other and feed off their teammates’ qualities, which only spelt trouble to the Tigers.

The final score was Dockers 22-12.144 defeated Norths Tigers 2-5.17.
Next week the Dockers come up against the newly merged club Nowra Albatross Vikings. The match will be played at the upgraded Tom Smith Oval in HMAS Albatross.
The Vikings are travelling well this season, with a couple of wins and losses under their belt. It is Important that all players get to training and start to think about what they can offer the team and club.
