Property owner Glenn Rowen and his wife have decided to sell the complex in the heart of Ulladulla, with plans to travel and spend more time with their family.
Mr Rowen took over the arcade’s management 35 years ago, at the age of 21, and he said now was the time for change.
His parents, Alf and Doreen, built the shopping arcade in 1965 and since that time it had undergone significant extensions, now housing Funland and Arcadia Twin Cinemas as well as 23 retail shops.
Mr Rowen hopes the property will sell so that he can take a break from his “24-seven” management responsibilities and have time to “live life”.
He said the property was up for sale in 2007, but the global financial crisis resulted in a sale falling through, so it was taken off the market.
It is now for sale through Burgess Rawson Commercial Real Estate, Sydney which is offering both the arcade and adjoining car park.
The deadline for offers closes tomorrow, June 20.
