The items were found when detectives, with assistance from Wollongong and Lake Illawarra Police Districts, the Dog Unit, and PolAir, executed search warrants at five Ulladulla homes on Thursday, August 9.  

A 31-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested at a home on Ocean Street, while a 43-year-old man was arrested at a home on Golden Wattle Drive.

The operation was part of Strike Force Dashi, which was established in February 2018 by South Coast Police District to investigative the supply of illicit drugs in the Ulladulla area.

The 31-year-old man was charged with two counts of supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, three counts of supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, three counts of supplying an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug, two counts of supplying a small quantity of a prohibited drug and two counts of supplying a prohibited drug.

He was bail refused to appear at Nowra Local Court on Friday, August 10. 

The 17-year-old boy was charged with two counts of supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, and two counts of supplying an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug.

He was also refused bail to appear at a children’s court on Friday, August 10. 

The 43-year-old man was charged with two counts of supplying an indictable ammount of cannabis and one count of cultivating a prohibited plant.

He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Milton Local Court on Thursday, September 13.

Investigations are continuing.
