Thirty classes each hosted their own stalls, combining with the school’s P&C and local residents, to raise funds for the local primary school.
Plants, hand-made goods, fairy floss, chocolate, the amazing maze, and showbags were some of the activities and goods on offer.
Milton Public School’s P&C Association president Anita Barry said the annual event was an important fundraiser for the school.
“It’s to support such a fantastic school and to raise money to get things for the children, teachers and classrooms to assist with their learning,” she said.
“We’re so proud of the school community, our kids, our teachers and our sponsors.”
The P&C president praised her fellow members and volunteers for the hours they gave to make it a success.
Milton Public School president Mark Thomson said the fete was a “fantastic” community event which brought the wider Milton community together.
“The school is so grateful for the work by the P&C committee,” he said.
Mr Thomson’s favourite stall, if he had to pick, was the home-made stall.
“People have been very generous with their time.”
Grandparent John Blunden, who moved to Milton a few years ago, said his grandchildren loved the school and the fete day.
“It’s a special school, it’s just got a vibe and there is passion here.”
The raffle, with a top prize of a trip to Hamilton Island, will be drawn on Monday, September 24 at the school’s assembly.
