The 2019 Milton Showgirl winner will be announced at 2pm on Saturday, March 2 at the 150th annual show.
The winner will be a representative of the Milton Show Society for the following 12 months and of the local community at a number of functions.
The 150th Milton Show showgirl competition entrants were introduced to the public at a presentation evening in February.
The five entrants, Caitlin Lee, Alicia Congram, Emily Quinn, Kesley Effield and Prue Nee were presented at a cocktail event at the Ulladulla Civic Centre.
Each showgirl has been through a rigorous judging process involving interviews about the importance of the Milton Show to the broader community and their commitment as a potential representative of the Milton Show for the next 12 months.
Last year’s winner, Emily-Jane Joyce, had a productive year as the Milton Showgirl attending many events including the Bush BBQ at the Royal Easter Show, the Blessing of the Fleet parade and attending a showgirl development weekend at Dubbo.
Ms Joyce represented the Milton Show at the Zone 2 final on February 23 in Nowra, where the Kiama and Camden showgirls, Sarah Young and Nicole Sandrone, were successful in progressing to the Sydney Royal Show The Land Showgirl competition.
