The ReIMAGINE Shoalhaven Environmental Expo will be held in Nowra on Wednesday, June 5, and a free return bus will run from Ulladulla to Nowra to ensure no-one misses out.
The free event will be held on World Environment Day at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre, from 9.30am to 4pm.
The expo promises to inspire and ignite your passion for taking positive action towards sustainability in your home, neighbourhood and beyond.
There will be opportunities for you to test your skill and knowledge with the experts through a range of interactive displays, workshops, demonstrations and discussions.
Exhibitors will be representing local initiatives, community partnerships and Council programs in areas such as waste minimisation, recycling and upcycling, wildlife and environmental protection, and bush, coast and waterways management.
Works from the ReIMAGINE Sculpture Project will be on display, with an impressive prize pool of over $10,000.
This year's theme 'ReIMAGINE', encourages sculptors and artists to use materials that are 80 per cent sourced from materials presented for disposal, reuse or recycling.
