A man, found by police asleep on a road, has been charged with an alleged carjacking in Ulladulla.

About 10pm (Monday, December 9), a woman got in her vehicle parked on the Princes Highway at Ulladulla, when she was approached by a man who got in the passenger's seat.
The 32-year-old demanded the woman start to drive; however, she fled from the vehicle and notified police of the incident.
The man allegedly took the car and drove off.
Officers attached to South Coast Police District began investigations and found the vehicle on Blackburn Road at Kings Point.
The man was found sleeping on the road nearby and was arrested and taken to Ulladulla Police Station.
He was charged with destroying or damaging property and taking and driving a conveyance without consent of owner.
He was refused bail and is due to face Nowra Local Court on Tuesday, December 10.
