On Tuesday, March 10, a bushfire support information evening will be held at the Ulladulla Civic Centre beginning at 5.30pm.
Experts from local care and support organisations will provide financial and mental wellbeing recovery information, resources, tools, contact details and strategies as bushfire recovery moves into the medium to long-term phases for affected residents.
Non-judgmental, qualified professionals will offer advice and strategies for residents navigating insurance companies, banks, debt, medium to long-term housing, financial aid and mental health for you, your family and community.
Some of the organisations involved include Shoalhaven Women's Health Centre, Lifeline Financial Counselling, Anglicare Financial Counselling, Uniting Financial Counselling, Anglicare Community Services, Black Dog Institute, Financial Planners Association of Australia, Lifeline Community Services, Financial Rights Legal Centre, Financial Counselling Association of NSW and FinancialTherapy.Org- Path Retreats.
The event is expected to run from 5.50pm to 8pm.
