Bendalong is drowning
I note all local, state and federal members of parliament and the Shoalhaven mayor have asked visitors to stay away.

Asking is not a enforceable demand.
Bendalong is drowning in Sydneysiders. There are caravans and tents set up in yards. People are camping in the National Park.
We need enforceable action, not wishy washy words.
They must stay away until at least a mid-December review.

Fines must be imposed
Thanks for your support on people coming for holidays, especially for the Ulladulla area as Milton hospital will not cope.
Thanks for listening to the people who are worried about the quick spread of coronavirus.
We are all hoping that fines will be in place and followed through. If the premier makes the rules of stating $11000 fines or six months' imprisonment, these fines need to be followed theough.
More needs to be told to locals who are watching Airbnb or holiday homes that are full of who we report them to. We need to know if fines fines have been handed out.
Hope you all stay safe and Shoalhaven doesnt go into chaos once Easter arrives or the winter flu season.

What the elderly want
Re COVID-19, it's the elderly with co-morbidities that are at risk. Sure, younger people can be infected but most seem to be able to survive. You are shutting Australia down basically to protect the elderly.
it's time to ask the elderly what they want.
From published figures just letting the virus loose risks lowering the life expectancy of those over 65 by around a year. And it is likely that these figures are overstated as those who are most susceptible have co-morbidities and these figures are only for those who were diagnosed.
The true picture should include the undiagnosed and the uninfected. So letting COVID-19 loose in Australia would reduce their overall life expectancy by six to eight months.
Compare this with what we did in the past when our lifestyle was threatened.
We sent our best and brightest of to be killed. Based on today's population that would proportionally mean about 140,000 killed in Wolrd War II and a 300,000 in World War I. Their sacrifice was not measured in months, they gave up multiple decades.
In the past when our lifestyle has been threatened we have not hesitated to demand sacrifices, especially our young.
This time it is the elderly who have to step up, we have had it pretty good. So let's have a year of isolation for the elderly while the herd builds immunity and goes about business as to normal.
Do not ruin Australia for our children and grandchildren.

Essentials still missing
My wife and I have priority status with Woolworths online shopping. We placed an order last week and received it minus toilet paper. This week we had the toilet paper on our list and it again was removed along with a 1kg bag of plain flour. We are in self isolation and in our 80s so how is this priority? We also ordered on Wednesday but cannot get our supplies until next Sunday, minus essentials I mentioned.

Bottom of the barrel
I'm an aged care nurse. I work from 6.30am to 3pm. Am I eligible for Woolworths home delivery? Or do i scrape the bottom of the barrel of what's left on the shelves?
