The 2021-22 NSW Budget will deliver funds to commence construction on the new Budawang School, to be located on the former Shoalhaven Anglican School site at Milton.
Mrs Hancock said over $13 million has been secured to deliver new purpose-built learning spaces to cater for students with moderate or severe intellectual disabilities from kindergarten to Year 12.
"The project will deliver seven classrooms, an administration block, covered outdoor learning area, school hall and multipurpose area, carpark, hydrotherapy pool and new landscaping," Mrs Hancock said.
"The Budawang School relocation is so important to the local school community and I am pleased we have secured the funding to commence construction on this vital project for our region.
"We are also continuing to plan for the future education precinct on the site which is a huge win for South Coast students and their families."
