Some getting closer than others, with Year 12 Students nearly at the end of their HSC.
Of course, all the hard work they have put in studying should be celebrated.
Especially considering how tumultuous it may have been with the COVID pandemic having its influence.
The Queensland borders are still shut, limiting the NSW people from heading to the Gold Coast, to let their hair down.

I am sure the beautiful South Coast will be highly considered as an alternative destination.
The visitors to this area still need to keep in mind that the rules and laws that they follow in their home towns are still enforced here.
On the South Coast for Schoolies - keep in mind that the rules and laws that you follow in your home towns are still enforced here.
There is no problem celebrating and enjoying yourself, but do not do it at the expense of the other people's or the community's comfort.
With the high school leavers ranging in ages of over and under 18 years of age, they all need to be aware of the rules they need to follow, especially around alcohol.
If a minor tries or is found to have consumed alcohol on a licensed premises or use false evidence to enter a licensed premises, they could find themselves being hit with a $220 fine.
If one of their mates supplies a minor with alcohol they may be asked to split the bill for a $1100 infringement notice.
If you are of age to venture out to the local establishment to enjoy a nice cold alcoholic bevvie, make sure you look after your friends and ensure you drink responsibly.
You do not want to let yourself get into an embarrassing state of intoxication where it affects your behavior to a point where you get ejected from the premises or unable to attend another premises with your friends.
Just remember there are multiple reasons that staff, security, the licensee or police can have you ejected from a licensed premises. This includes, but not limited to, your level of intoxication, quarrelsome behavior, violent behavior or the supply/obtaining of illicit drugs on the premises.
If you make the wrong decision by not leaving the premises or the vicinity of the premises fine up to $550 can apply.
If you decide to stay together in a holiday house, please be aware of the level of noise you are making.
Respect that you may not be surrounded by other holiday homes, and have people that still need to go to work or have kids inside trying to sleep.
Last thing police want to do is ruin your time away by slapping a noise abatement direction on the occupants and the address for 28 days, which I think would likely cover the whole trip.
Once again, if this direction is breached, you may be looking at hefty fines of $300 and the possible seizure of equipment.
So make sure you have fun, but don't ruin the fun for others.
