Mollymook man Dean Howcroft has begun his journey to have overseas treatment for Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Mr Howcroft travelled to Panama with his wife Alina on the weekend to have embryonic stem cell treatment at the Stem Cell Institute.
His first round of $30,000 per session treatment, of which he will need a minimum of two, will be on Tuesday, May 29.
A fundraiser for Mr Howcroft, who is 37 years old, was held in Ulladulla on April 28.
Mr Howcroft was just 25 he was given the life changing diagnosis, and has been able to keep his disease, which interferes with nerve impulses in the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves, at bay for almost 13 years.
