Residents, who have a family member with a disability, have regularly used the respite facility and during July the cottage was used by eight clients on 22 nights.
As well as providing respite care, Budawang School students have used the house for their Life Skills program, which includes washing, making beds and cooking. Essential personnel have also used the house for their skills program.
Jindelara Services president Alison Wade said the house had also been used by groups including young people for a party and footy night and a group home in Canberra, who used Jindaelara for a four-day holiday in June.

She praised volunteers for cleaning the house and also praised the community’s generosity for establishing the house and continuing donations to assist with maintenance.
“Thank you to the Christian Surfers and the Heritage Bakery Milton for their recent donations,” she said.
Jindelara volunteers also thanked the Veolia Mulwaree Trust for its grant of $1524, which was used to buy a trampoline for guests.
“The clients will get great enjoyment out of using the trampoline,” Ms Wade said.
