The Milton Ulladulla District Junior Tennis Club Championships were held over the weekend with close results a feature of all events.

Natasha Phillips-Edgar won the Open Girls Singles and partnered with Emily Upsall to win the Doubles. Keitara Matthews was second in both events partnering with Charlie Stanton.
The Open Boys Singles was won by Sean Donald, going undefeated, with Brock Pearse second on game score.
The Hatcher-Nee brothers, Will and Tom combined to win the Open Doubles with Tyrone Matthews and Isaiah Lewis second.
The Division 1 Boys event was won by Andrew Gunn with Reece Manessah second, separated by game score over 3rd placed Rowan Ogilvy.
In the Division 2 Boys Singles just five games separated the top five with Harry Walsh winning the event from Lucas McDonald whilst Thomas Tudor-Jones and Jye Symonds won the doubles from Harry Walsh and Zach Wells.
Natasha Phillips-Edgar and Sean Donald won the Mixed Doubles from the Matthews siblings.
Harris Scarfe Monday Ladies Competition
Last week's tennis was the last round of this comp.
DIVISION 1: Loves defeated Rejc 4 sets to 2 with Deb Loves winning her 4 sets. Farmilo defeated Dickson 3 sets all, 31 games to 29. Point scores are as follows: Loves 1st on 71, Mennie 2nd on 55 1/2, Farmilo 3rd on 50 1/2, Dickson 4th on 43, Team Rejc 5th on 38 points.
DIVISION 2: Potts defeated Donohue 4 sets to 2. Rutherford defeated Clough 5 sets to 1 with Mary Lou Barclay winning her 4 sets. Hargreaves defeated Rasmussen 3 sets all, 26 games to 24. Melissa Charles played for Sue Pascoe and Marie Hill played for Cathy McDonald in Team Hargreaves. Point scores are as follows: Potts 1st on 67, Dunn 2nd on 60, Rutherford 3rd on 51, Donohue 4th on 42, Hargreaves 5th on 40, Clough 6th on 39, Rasmussen 7th on 37 points.
The semi-final for Division 1 will be Loves/Dickson v Mennie/Farmilo. While Division 2 will be Potts/Donohue v Dunn/Rutherford. Players not in the semi-finals will be playing social tennis.
Thursday Night Ladies Competition
November 14 saw the semi-finals being played. The results were Team Simon defeated Team MacPherson 3 sets all, 30 games to 26. All the sets were close. For Team MacPherson, Marg Ogilvy played for Sonya Limbrick and Mel Blondinau played for Kristy McPherson.
Team Jones defeated Team Martin 5 sets to 1. Belinda Ireland played for Julie Ryan in Team Jones. Unfortunately, Team Martin had to forfeit 3 sets as the team was without a player.
Next week's Grand Final will be played between Team Simon and Team Jones with Team MacPherson and Team Martin playing for the wooden spoon. The presentation will follow the night's tennis including refreshments. All welcome and please remember to bring along a plate.
