HISTORY was made at Michael Cronin Oval on Saturday when the Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs and Gerringong Lions played their first-ever women's match against one another.

With 2020 being only the Lions' second in the competition and the Dogs first in division two, the round eight fixture between the pair of women's league tag two sides was the first of its kind.
In the end, the hosts ran out winners 22-14, despite tries from Meg Buchanan, Alivia Heath and Olivia Chopping.
Later in the day, Milton edged Gerringong 24-14 in the under 18s, thanks to four-pointers from Bailey Tooth (two), Riley Wooden (two) and Blake Halls.
Then in reserve grade, the Dogs drew 20-all with the Lions. Lochlan Broughton, Tyler Evans, Travis Wooden and Lleyton Roach all scored for the visitors, in a match which marked Travis and Riley Wooden's first together in reserve grade.
In other results, Milton's third grade side lost 32-18 to Culburra (with Cruize Turay, Liam Conlon and Adam Diver scoring), while their WLT1 side downed the Jets 32-6.
