According to the Bureau of Meteorology temperatures are predicted to reach 36 around 1pm in Nowra and 30 in Ulladulla. The fire danger is Very High.
A severe wind warning has been issues by the Bureau of Meteorology, for the South Coast for inland areas including Braidwood.
Temperatures are set to cool dramatically across Monday night and into Tuesday.
There is also a chance of thunderstorms and rain late Monday evening as the temperature cools.
On Tuesday, Nowra is forecast to reach a maximum of 22 and Ulladulla 20.
After Monday temperatures a forecast to remain moderate, except for Friday, November 20 where temperatures are set to head into the 30s again.
