When the Milton Ulladulla Times contacted Fenndog for one of our regular updates he was within reach of a destination milestone.
By this weekend he had hoped to reach Brisbane.
Fenndog said he had been going well, despite the storms and heat.
His walk started in July 2021 and he will be walking solo unaided and unassisted, from Cape York (the most northern point of Australia) to South East Cape (the most southern point of Tasmania.
He aimed to walk over 60 kilometres on Thursday and Friday.
The Lake Conjola resident was keen to hear about a walk fellow Shoalhaven resident was planning to embark upon.
"That's mad," Fenndog said about Ice's walk.
"I tell you what - it's no small feat - anything over 25 to 30ks as well is great. That is amazing - good stuff."
Fenndog's own epic walk is in the name of suicide awareness and mental health.
He wants to raise awareness and funds as he heads down the Eastern Seaboard.
Fenndog has a Gofundme page where people can make donations. Donate here.
Matt has a Facebook page and Instagram page both full of details.
