Held on Sunday, February 5, Garry Jenner won the two kilometre male 60-64 year age group, while Jill Pettifir won the two kilometre female 60-64 year age group event.
Jenner won in a time of 36 minutes and 35 seconds in the two kilometre swim, while his daughter Amelia swam also competed on the day, returning with a strong result in the open two kilometre swim.
Pettifer won her two kilometre event in a time of 40 minutes and 48 seconds.
The Cole Classic, in its 33rd year, is the biggest ocean swim event on the NSW ocean swim calendar, had 3,591 swimmers taking part this year.
The entrants lined up at Shelley Beach throughout the morning to race in three events.
From here, they swam with one, two and five kilometres to the finish line at the Manly Surf Lifesaving Club.
